1. Prepare the Beef
- Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven or pot.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper, then sear on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pot, sauté onion, garlic, and sliced chili until softened.
- Stir in cumin, paprika, coriander, and tomato paste; cook for 1 minute.
- Add crushed tomatoes, beef stock, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Mix well.
